Received UROP Outstanding Research Mentorship Award

Today I received the amazing news that I received the UROP Outstanding Research Mentor Award, which is a major award for undergraduate teaching at the University of Michigan.  I was nominated for this award by Chen Liang, who was the student who traveled to present our joint work at Yale University a few weeks ago.   I am enormously grateful to Chen, as well as to the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP), and its Director, Sandra Gregerman.  I work with about 10 students through this program each year, which is absolutely integral to the progress of my research program.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!
